PLEASE BE. CAREFUL !!! We love our surrounding nature - and the beauty it brings to our hearts and bodies. Don't forget to leave extra water for our pets - and look out for your neighbors.
APOLOGIES and THANK YOU !!! Yesterday I was running up and down stairs at a large condo complex in the Palisades. My client was in a hurry and we decided to jog ! My phone in my pocket, also decided to jog on - sending out a video and many pocket dials. Sorry (Canadian eh?) and much appreciation to those who called to check on me (no daughter - I was not kidnapped!) and those who laughed.
We all could use some joy and sharing.
"BACK to WORK?" I have a different perspective. Real Estate "work/travail" for me is an honour, a privilege and a pleasure - it is my heart/head felt choice of career. I find the process with a buyer truly and fully exhilarating to locate (often eliminate) a home/lease/land for a PERSON (versus client). I thoroughly enjoy managing a sale/purchase with teamwork - together. I learn valuable information with each inspection and each transaction. Hopefully I have learned to carefully listen to what is important to YOUR heart and soul for the place you choose to land and live/invest/nurture. Soon will be back in my vehicle, touring around the Lake, explaining the differences in our beaches, being a shoulder to lean on with the expenses of septic, permits, foundations, inspections, termites, etc................
HOW ARE YOU ???? Spending time with my mother has been glorious. Our quarantine will end soon. Meanwhile in the real estate business world, several clients are "on hold but still available". Laguna Circle land and Barrymore lease. Have a golf course home coming up soon at $950,000. A retired real estate agent has a lease in Monte Nido, all privately handled with no company involvement. $2900 for 1 + 1 cozy cottage on a knoll. Pets welcome. I will be happy to send you details via messenger or email. Meanwhile, keeping a positive attitude and looking forward to continuing with professionalism and a smiling spirit. Again - how are you ?????
Meeting tonight, voting in 2 weeks. Currently SMMUSD (local school district) has 103 students that are permitted from "out of area". That is 14% of total. These students are either continuing from a recent move, or have siblings in the schools, or have parents who work in the area. These areas include Castlemare, Monte Nido, Malibou Lake, Seminole Springs, Yerba Buena, County Line, Upper Latigo, Deer Creek. If a new proposal to ban these permits is voted on, this change will severely impact enrollment and funding. OLM and St. Aidans and Las Flores and other private school's enrollment could also be impacted. Please email immediately to [email protected] to help keep these permits valid and ongoing. Thank you. Much appreciated.
How many of us "know" our neighbors? I had the fortunate opportunity to "grow up" on an island in southern British Columbia, hence my Canadian sensibilities. Everyone knew each other's cars, their kiddos and parents, and their driveways and pets. You can still have personal privacy and respect; whilst letting your neighbors know that you are there for them. Cooking for neighbors today......... Grateful.
