It's not just about miles: If you don't drive your car a lot, your oil still needs to be kept fresh. Even if you drive fewer miles each year than your automaker suggests changing the oil (say, 6,000 miles, with suggested oil-change intervals at 7,500 miles), you should still be getting that oil changed twice a year. Oil and oil filters are cheap, engines are not. We continue to follow the CDC guidelines - employees wear masks, customers are required to wear masks, we're socially distanced, after-hours vehicle drop-off available, and payments can be made over the phone. For some of us, we may not be driving as much as we used too. Most car batteries which are in good condition will last at least two weeks without needing you to start the car and drive to recharge it, according to the AAA. But if you don't intend to drive your car for some time for whatever reason, you should still start it up once a week to recharge. If you find your car won't start and a simple jump doesn't help, give us a call and have your car towed to us. Does anyone know what is the function of a Cabin Air filter? It filters the air from the outside that comes into your car when the AC or heat is on...this pic is 2 things. 1. Super dirty and hasn't been changed in a long time. 2. A home for a critter as depicted by the twigs and droppings. Add this to your To Do list-check your cabin air filter (if your car has one) and get rodent deterring packs installed under your hood if you've noticed rodent activity....
