Primary Objective of Position: ISO Coordinator To assist with our implementation of the ISO Standard, as well as ensuring our continued certification. ... Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and head the internal product and process audits. Coordinate outsourced calibration of all tools used that affect product quality and maintain all records of calibration. Maintain and control all ISO released forms and procedures. Assist in creating and updating departmental procedures to ensure conformance to the standard. Assist in training of al personnel in the ISO standard and company procedures. Assist in all areas in maintaining compliance to the ISO standard. Assist other areas of the quality department when needed. Follow ISO and all other applicable procedures and policies. Follow all safety requirements. Perform other duties as required / needed. Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum of a 2 year technical degree or 4+ years of quality control / assurance work experience. Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to interpret and understand product specifications and drawings. Understanding of configuration control. Ability to operate measuring and testing equipment. Ability to speak, read and write English. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be diplomatic when pointing out deficiencies from the quality standard to other personnel. Good attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment under minimal supervision, checking with supervisor when in doubt. Attitude and manner which promotes quality workmanship to other employees. Physical Demands: Ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day on cement, walk, push, pull, reach overhead and bend to the floor. Lift up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity Near acuity and accommodation required for reading dials, meters, displays and distinguishing colors. Auditory acuity Able to hear sound in both left and right ears.
