From the Ground Up

What are you still harvesting from your garden? I am reticent to pull up my tomatoes although they're getting towards the end of their life. My chile plants are still going strong though and are almost decorative this time of year.

What does this week hold for you? I've been thinking a lot about what would be meaningful to post this year. Locally we've faced a lot of challenges. The pandemic has made being at home and improving your home environment important. It's inspired many to take up gardening, vegetable growing, and investing in the land. ... Not one but two fires have forced us indoors for months on end. On a sunny clear day like today, I'm incredibly grateful to be here still. We're surrounded by beauty and a strong community. #SonomaStrong

If you like me have been thinking is there anyway to help manage our mountains so they're more resilient in the face of fires. There's an organization already working on this. However I challenge my private business' to get involved.
