A message from the President of the Friends of the Lockeford Memorial Park: To our friends, members, and the community at large: First, I hope everyone’s New Years is going well so fair and I’m sorry to say that our February General Public Meeting will be canceled due to the Global Pandemic of the Corona Virus. As restrictions vary, The Board of Directors are deciding how to conduct our business safely and securely. If you have an item or suggestion that you want the Board of... Directors to consider, please feel free to contact us by email, mail, and/or by replying to this message. Secondly, The Board of Directors is committed to continue working on our projects that can benefit the people and the Township of Lockeford at large. Like with everyone else, we are not sure what the next few months will bring in regards with everything going on. However, if you have any ideas about events, or fundraisers and/or volunteer your time to help us, we would be very grateful for your help. A few updates since our last post in December: Our 2021 Officers have taken their positions and are ready to get to work. A Disc Golf Basket has been purchased and installed in the Park. Donor Plaques are still in development and be arriving sometime soon. I hope all of you can stop by sometime soon and check out all we have done for the Lockeford Memorial Park.
