Hope everyone is doing well. I know many of us want to get outdoors while practicing social distancing. Grover day use is still open, but the pool and camping is closed. I just talked to a park employee and he said there were a few visitors snowshoeing in the park today as there is some snow on the ground. He wanted me to remind visitors that there is a $10/vehicle day-use fee. It is self-service pay so bring correct change. Respect the gateway communities and limiting ...their exposure to the flu. Starting September 4th the pool will be closed Wednesdays until next summer. The pool hours are 10am to 7pm and will be subject to change later in the season. The pool is scheduled to be closed for annual maintenance and repairs September 18th - 27th.

The new trail is progressing along. The boardwalk through the meadow by the campground is almost completed. The CCC crew is now working on the portion of the trail across the meadow to the pool (Cutoff Trail).

There is still a lot of water flowing down Hot Springs Creek and the waterfalls hike is a great summertime hike. There have been several campsites available during the week and the pool complex is open daily. Grover is a great place to escape and enjoy nature. The Visitor Center is open daily.
