Let’s take you back. Back to the Fresno State Tiny House Project, because its #FlashbackFriday and we want to remind you why Fresno State’s Day of Giving [Thurs...day, November 7] is such a big day for students in the Lyles College of Engineering. In 2016, Construction Management students in the Lyles College worked tirelessly to design, construct a 190-square-foot Tiny House and take to a regional competition. This story, and stories of the like, remind us daily that its projects like these that help students rise to their potential and get the hands-on experience they need before entering the workforce. This year’s Day of Giving initiatives include Student Success by Academic Department, so during Day of Giving, we’re encouraging our friends, family, colleagues and industry partners to give to their Department of choice. In turn, funds will support the Departments student success initiatives like projects, research, and conference and workshop travel.
