With the new year just ahead of us, we cannot forget the amazing things that happened last semester. Our amazing Reading and Beyond Fresno State tutors held an amazing book fair at Barnes and Noble and were recognized for their amazing work by their site supervisors. We cannot wait to see what else these tutors will accomplish this semester!

Fresno READS is pleased to announce our new program coordinator Dawn Lazo! Dawn comes to us with years of experience coordinating education programs and she is very excited to empower Fresno State students continue to serve young children in Fresno area schools. Help us welcome Dawn to Fresno State!

WOW! What a fantastic week of stories, arts & crafts, hanging out with the students and staff at Wolters and of course putting books into the hands of children! We sold nearly $3000 worth of books and literacy items! 100% of the credit earned by Fresno READS will be put back into Wolters Elementary. Get your wish lists ready teachers we will be providing you and your students with books!
