DEADLINE REMINDER TO 2020 / 21 GRADUATES **This Tuesday** (5/4, 11:59pm) - Your photo for the graduation ceremony scoreboard / live stream slide is due & look... for a recent email from [email protected] for more info. **This Thursday** (5/6) - Jordan College commencement graduate & guest ticket pick-up (& honor cords) is in front of the Agricultural Sciences building (10am-4pm). For Thursday's ticket pick-up, parking restrictions in Lot P15 will be relaxed for students (lot is on southeast corner of Barstow/Maple next to planetarium / Science I building) & students should: - wear masks & bring a photo ID - do the mandatory health screening next to the Satellite Student Union. - refer to https://commencement.fresnostate.edu/ticket-pick-up-info.ht for more info On commencement evening (Saturday, 5/15, 7 p.m.), the current plans include: Masks/face coverings are required of all graduates, guests, faculty, staff & volunteers. Will include lots of walking, so for your comfort and safety (& to protect the turf in Bulldog Stadium), it is encouraged that no high heels be worn. ASI will provide all graduates with a special, graduation ceremony face mask at check-in. Only 1 unopened bottle of water up to 24 oz will be allowed in (& there will be water for sale in the stadium). Noisemakers, balloons, large bags (above 12x10x10 inches), signs, weapons, lighters & bottles containing liquids other than water will not be permitted into the stadium. There will be no paper programs & an electronic program will be available. Fresno State encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs & activities (& please email lindaa@csufresno about accommodations for graduates / guests by Wednesday, May 5). Commencement is an alcohol & drug-free event (& students who appear to be under the influence will be removed from the procession line or stadium & will not be allowed to participate). The University must follow state & local public health guidelines to ensure the safety of our graduates & community. Should conditions within Fresno County change, we may have to alter these plans.
