FYI: Tax Filing Year 2019 If you are claiming any dependents this year that are Son, Daughter, Neice, Nephew, Grandchild, Brother, Sister.... Make sure you can prove that they are "blood" related. The IRS is now linked to be able to check birth certificate records. So you may not want to claim your friends kids or anyone you can't prove the relationship with.... The IRS plans to crack down this year. Some files may make it through however most will get reviewed if there are any red flags. Such as last names not matching, and if there is a history of the dependant being claimed by different taxpayers during different years. We start scheduling on Jan 1, 2020 Merry Christmas!
