When the Season Shifts

Freedom House Family, Right now, we need to take swift action for all of our churches and ministries based in California. As you may have heard, unfortunately churches have been left out of Governor Newsom’s Stage 2 plan for reopening, which started on May 8th. It is imperative that we allow our churches to reopen with sa...feguards in place so our communities can begin to congregate and heal together as we contend for a great revival in our home state. For that very reason, Senator Shannon Grove, a dear friend of the HIM family, has requested for the Governor to include churches in Stage 2 of California’s Pandemic Resilience Roadmap. This is where you step in. Take a stand with us to voice the need for churches to be reopened during Stage 2. We are joining over 3,000 churches who are petitioning to Governor Newsom to re-open churches on May 31st. That Sunday happens to be Pentecost Sunday, which marks 2,020 years to the day of when the first church opened. Click on this button below and sign the petition to send a letter to Governor Newsom urging his support of Senator Grove’s request. We are in this together.
