In the before picture, it’s hard to see, but Terri had at least 3 inches of grey new growth at the base, then from there it was just this pale yellow brassy drab hair that was damaged and in need of some major TLC. So I colored her base with @goldwellcolor levels 8NN& 9NN with 8GB and 9BA (for balance) Goldwell Topchic with Goldwell 20 volume developer. After that I used Goldwell Colorance 8GB, 9BA with the Colorance lotion developer to create the rich sandy blonde with gol...d and ash tones. Then of course the haircut, where I cut a fresh bob with a slight bevel and long layers for movement and depth. She loves my work and was so thankful for my knowledge of color and haircutting expertise. I now have a new client that will be loyal to me and for that, I am so grateful. This is Roman. I had the privilege of cutting this young man hair yesterday. He hadn’t had his haircut since early March before everything was shut down from Covid. Thankfully he didn’t do what so many others did and he didn’t give himself the quintessential Covid cut. Now, you have to understand that my photography skills are not the best, but my hair cutting skills are. Because of his hair density, tapered the sides and back to a pretty short length, and then kept the top... longer with a disconnect and a lot of needed texture was key to get most style and flow to his very fine and straight hair.
