A trip we will never forget. The Boys. The Road. The Pandemic. A whole lot of VB’s. Took off on March 12th, with a solid crew, to road trip the North ...and South islands of New Zealand, hoping to escape reality for a month, surf our brains out, visit Hobbiton, white water raft, see the Milford Sound, surf more & the list goes on. While we were able to escape reality for a bit, surf some rarely uncrowded Raglan, see the country and beaches of the Northland and explore the city life in Auckland, the pandemic eventually caught up with us (and NZ) forcing us to do our part, isolate and cut the trip short. We checked off a lot of beautiful places and bookmarked a lot more, hopefully for a 2021 New Zealand trip round @_captainjackk captured this first photo of me, surfing Raglan on my dads retro Merrick single fin.
