The caramel factory has been busy. Many orders from grateful parents to their children’s new teachers in this crazy start of a new school year. This is a crazy time in our country now. Mothers and fathers have become teachers, while teachers jumped immediately into action and became remote educators. With the end of the school year, and Mother’s Day rapidly approaching let’s not forget to thank them properly. My caramels and my good friends are on a vacation of a lifetime. Jordan, Egypt, a cruise down the majestic Nile. The art and architecture of an ancient civilization is truly incredible and awe inspiring. I’m thrilled that my caramels (and dear friends ) have been able to take this amazing journey.

A great customer (my cousin, Randy)wrote me after I delivered his order. I had messaged him a thank you and his response was- I love giving something I love, to those that I love, made by someone I love. I am now recovered, back to 100 %, and already back in the kitchen, doing what I love. I was sorry that I wasn’t able to be ready in time for Valentine’s Day, but I have 10 more months of holidays, dinner parties, teacher and parent days, birthdays and I’m going to sit, read a book, and treat myself! So whatever the occasion may be, I’m ready and enthusiastically standing by.

Dear Sweet Customers: Blessings for a wonderful 2020. I will be away from the kitchen and caramel making until the end of February as I need to take care of a pressing medical issue. So, while I will not be available for your Valentines needs I will be up and running at 100% for any and all needs or cravings as soon as my doctor gives me the green light.
