All horses are covered with the Zoetis Immunization Support Guarantee and have been on Platinum Performance for the semester. FRC is really proud of the students who have stuck with their project horses despite so many challenges over the last couple months. In the face of these unfortunate times, Feather River College has decided to cancel this year’s live horse auction. Some of our local students have continued to ride and care for their sale horses and there will be a small selection available by private treaty in May. An updated sale list and terms and conditions of the private treaty sale will be available on our website by the end of the week. With California’s shelter in place mandate, we cannot allow interested buyer...s on campus but hope these travel restrictions will lift soon as our country begins to heal. Feather River College values the hard work the students have put into these project horses, which is why we do not mind holding back some horses for next year’s sale. We are committed to continuing the education of both our students and our horses by allowing them to have this extra time to learn. Feather River College is very thankful for the support of our community, students, sponsors, past and future FRC horse owners. We wish you and your loved ones health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
