We just put this loaded 1975 Pontiac Grand Ville Brougham Convertible project car up for sale on our website.
Here is a video of the 1965 GTO Tripower 4spd body shell we put up for sale yesterday.
Yesterday we pulled this 1963 Catalina into our shop to be dismantled. It's all about location, not all California cars are rust free. It sat out by the Salton Sea for many years. Used as a part car by one of our customers, this car has some major rust including holes in the differential and the transmission. Hopefully we will find a few nice items to put up on our website.
Last of the big Pontiac luxury convertibles, John is topping off the brake fluid on this 1975 Grand Ville Brougham project car that we got running last week.
It all takes time, we finally got the clear title on this 1965 GTO body that we picked up some weeks back. Now featured for sale on our website it was originally a rare tripower 4spd. The body has little rust but needs major body work at the tail panel. It could be used for repair panels or put back on the road.
John is busy taking apart the 1969 GTO body that we were cleaning out the other day. While the body is rough, it is still a 1969 GTO. The body will be sold as a builder or parts body with a clean California title and the frame will be sold separately. I have started putting up parts from this car on our website. The frame and body should be up next week.
We have had several freight orders ship out in the last two weeks. This is what a 1969 Grand Prix roof, a pair of 1960 Pontiac Ventura fenders with inner fender wells and a 2nd gen Trans Am sub frame looks like ready to go.
John just changed out the front bumper on this rough 1969 GTO RA III that has been kicking around up here for several years now. It had a 1968 front bumper on it. I figure, if it is going to be hanging around, it should be correct.
We had a couple of GTO engines come in just the other day. The 1971 YS and #96 heads were in great shape and are now for sale on our website. The other engine was stored out in the weather to long. The 1967 YS block and crank shaft were completely shot. We were able to salvage the #670 heads.
We just finished cleaning up this 1978 Trans Am rolling body shell. It is now up on our website for sale. If you have a rusty car, it is less expensive to get a complete replacement body shell then pay the body shop to fix yours. https://youtu.be/1LVr_ThBU5A
This image is from last week. The guys are finishing up the 1978 Trans Am parts car we picked up. Most of the body parts have already sold.
We had a customer donate this beat up 1969 GTO to our cause. It looks like it was used to store parts before all the rodents got in to it. It was decided that today would be the day to sort though it and look for treasures.
The new guy, Trevor has been doing a great job cleaning up parts for our website sales.
Marc from Wyandotte Michigan, stopped by the other day and picked up a few parts fro his 1968 Catalina Convertible.
We just put this completely rebuilt 1977-79 Trans Am 403 V8 up onto our website for sale. This engine came in with a 1978 Trans Am project car that we picked up in pieces. Priced on our website for $1550, this is a great deal for someone missing their engine since a good used inspected block, intake, heads, crank and oil pan add up to around the same price.
We just put this 1978 Trans Am black dash pad up on our website for sale. While the black padded portion is perfect with no cracks, the fiberglass housing has several cracks. This item is featured up for half the normal price. Since we just picked up a 1978 Trans Am in pieces, keep an eye on our website as there will be more 1978 Trans Am parts to come in the next couple weeks.
We had just enough room for a few Agave's that we spotted at a roadside swap meet in Lucerne on the way back from picking up a 1978 Trans Am on Saturday. $10 each, what a great deal, much better than the $50 each from The Home Depot.
Vincent and I drove across the desert to Victorville California to pick up this abandoned project 1978 Trans Am. This car was super nice, but it sat too long, large dogs had made a habit of jumping on the roof leaving creases that won't completely pop out. It's a good thing that the perfect fenders and hood were stored separately in a shed. Since the rest of the body is rust free and it is mostly apart, this one will be a perfect parts car. The body will also be for sale eventually.
We just put this 1966 WV code tripower 4spd engine block up on our website for sale. It's super rare, but unfortunately one cylinder won't clean up at .060, so it will need a sleeve. This block is listed for less then half price due to the one bad hole, this leaves enough money left on the table for the buyer to sleeve all the holes if so desired and end up with a standard block at a reasonable price.
We have been playing machine shop again. After some cleaning and magnafluxing, we just posted up onto our website three pairs of high performance heads. 1964 #9770716, 1966 #093 and a pair of 1969 #62.
John disassembled this 1966 Tempest front end yesterday. The parts from this front clip will be on the website as soon as time allows. With Vincent back in college and only here 8 hours a week, John and I have had to do everything. While I have been doing all the packaging, John has been playing mechanic and parts washer guy both. We could sure use another person just to package or clean parts, but all that apply here are way over qualified for that kind of work.
We have been very busy getting orders out. We put several GTO doors and their associated door parts up on the website this last week. Right now, John is out in the shop taking apart this 1969 Firebird front clip that we just got in for parts.
On the way back from picking up the 1964 LeMans this last weekend, Vincent and I made a side trip down an old section of Route 66 though Oatman Arizona in search of Navajo Tacos and Indian Fry Bread for lunch (it was great by the way). Oatman is a cool old mining town with lots of old original buildings, a crazy amount of tourists and wild hungry burros looking for free handouts. Since the virus is not a hoax and so many people in Arizona don't believe in wearing masks in public, we did not stick around very long.
