We want to do a HUGE shout out to Delta Dental Insurance Company and their employees for donating the following, over 1,500 dental kits, 632 snack bars, 667 pairs of socks, 80 travel tissues and reusable water bottles. As you can see the Program Manger Benjamin had a full load to pick up. These donations will go right into the hands of the community members that need them the most. THANK YOU! Did you know in 2019 Francis House gave out over 1000 hygiene kits, and most of tho...se items were supplied by donations like this and from community members like you. Happy Monday everyone! We are currently running low on travel size hygiene items and ask for any donations if possible, specifically toothbrushes. Clients do not have to receive any services to receive a hygiene kit. Sometimes we have guests come just to ask for one, and we are always happy when we are able to provide them thanks to your donations!

Thank you for making our Big Day of Giving campaign such a huge success. Because of your kind spirit and generous giving, we raised over $8,500, all of which will go to direct support of our programs and the clients we serve. Next Move operates on a lean budget, with less than 2% of our revenue going to overhead and administration costs. That means that out of every dollar donated, .98 goes directly to support our programs. We will continue to remain good fiscal stewards of our resources while providing life-changing services to our clients. Thank you for believing in us, the work we do, and for giving our clients a chance to become self-reliant community members. If not for you, none of this would be possible.

Meet Anthony, our donation center volunteer! He comes in consistently every day that the donation center is open (Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00am-12:00pm) to help sort items and receive deliveries. Since COVID-19 started our donation center employee has been out (he is part of the at-risk senior population) and Anthony has stepped in to run the donation center on his own! We are so lucky to have him and don't know what we would do without him.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by on Tuesday to drop off donations! If you couldn't make it on Tuesday, today is the second day of our drive. We will be accepting donations curbside from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Thank you so much to John Pasamonte and the residents of Four Seasons Westshore in Natomas, Sacramento, CA! This is the THIRD large donation they have provided to us since the start of the spread of COVID-19. Our donation center is the most utilized and accessible service we are able to provide right now, so community donations are so important to us! Please consider donating any gently used clothing, shoes, or blankets next week during our Curbside Donation Drive!
