My father is making these really cute bar muddlers. The taller one is walnut and maple and the smaller one is walnut. He is 79 years old and has been crafting with wood all his life. Now he has a condition called restless leg syndrome. It keeps him in perpetual motion. He creates as a survival mechanism. It is quite inspiring.

Francis Baker Photography spent the day at Ellation creating lifestyle images for their website. This is a very cool environment to work in! They offer classes such as boxing and Yoga. You can bring in your kids or pets. And, they have a YouTube production room to make your own live streams.

I have been lucky enough to merge my love of the artistic endeavor with my commercial photography. Here are a few examples of the great works I have documented this year.

I was over at Twitter the other day. I photographed Marina Perez-Wong and Elaine Chu's just finished, beautiful mural focused on woman. I love that companies in the Bay Area are expanding to include artist residencies.
