The Meaning Representation of Null Instantiated Semantic Roles in FrameNet poster presented at the Designing Meaning Representation workshop on August 1, held in conjunction with ACL 2019 (Florence), garnered interest from such far flung places as Finland, Israel, and New Jersey.
Omri Abend opened the Designing Meaning Representation workshop at ACL with an invited talk entitled "The Case for Typologically-informed Meaning Representations" invoking FrameNet throughout.
Behrang QasemiZadeh initiated "SemEval-2019 Task 2: Unsupervised Lexical Frame Induction," appearing on the program and in the proceedings of the 13th edition of The International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation, held in conjunction with NAACL HLT 2019 in Minneapolis, with Miriam R. L. Petruck presenting the task overview and Regina Stodden presenting the poster.
