Frame It Yourself

Looks like we're going to have the appointment-only schedule for another four weeks or so, until I can get my second vaccination. Then we're going to be opening up the hours bit-by-bit, until June 15th, when our normal operating hours will resume. And, by "resume," I mean we're re-tooling the hours to be more in-line for a dude in his 50s. Back to work, now.

Been about a month, so it looks like it's time for me to post something about being CLOSED today. This time, though, it's for health reasons. I've been pretty much sick as a dog for about a week, and forcing myself to go in just about led to a full collapse. Chills, fatigue, vomiting, the whole nine yards. Anyhow, three days of guilt-laden rest later, and I'm just about ready to hit the frames again. I've got a bit more strength, and I just want to give myself that little add...itional rest before starting in. I know some have been waiting for their orders for longer than normal. I apologize profusely for this. The holiday season and everything ON TOP OF everything else hasn't been easy for a lot of us, and I was no exception. Fear not, though. I am in NO way giving up. I'm going to rally and keep the shop going through 2021... and beyond!

CLOSED today due to non-COVID illness. Will likely be back tomorrow. I’m probably just getting old and need more sleep. Yay.

Heh. Short notice again. Closed tomorrow through Tuesday for Christmas (went ahead and added Saturday because really? You're gonna come in the day after Christmas?), and we'll be back on Wednesday the 30th. Going to go ahead and announce that we will be closed AGAIN on Friday the 1st for New Years Day. Goodbye, 2020. No one's really going to miss you.

With the upcoming re-enforced stay-at-home order, we are STILL going to be open. It turns out, with the appointment-only scheduling, and with only 2 people able to be in the shop (not including me), we're able to keep going even with the new restrictions. In other words, while surely not business-as-usual, we're still going to be here. At least, unless they impose further restrictions.

Discovered recently that the update I'd THOUGHT I'd done to the website wasn't so much. So, updated that. ALSO, the shop is going to be CLOSED next Saturday, the 21st of November, through Friday, the 27th, for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will re-open on Saturday, the 28th. Lastly, we will take orders for Christmas for as long as we're able, but thanks to all the lovely snags the pandemic has created, we can't guarantee any orders received AFTER the 15th of December. The ear...lier you come in, the better your chances. Some of you have already done this, and you guys rock. Thanks for helping keep the doors open!

Closing at 2 today because my computer has decided that for Halloween it's going to dress up as a dead computer. It's more like "undead," because although it's working, I'm getting hard disc errors left and right, and figure it's running on borrowed time. On the bright side: NEW COMPUTER!
