Terminator! Matthew 23:24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. Accepting societal norms just because they fit into what everyone else believes is like going along to get along. Just because it sounds good does not always mean that it is good or right. We strain at the truth of God’s Word, but swallow any old thing society throws at us because we want to make everyone happy. Clarity of thought and purpose come through the pages of God’s Word, follow it and it will lead you to life. Follow your feelings and you will find yourself coming up short. Therefore if the world does not agree, don’t let it bug you; they simply have not seen the light in God’s Word. Your mission should you accept it, terminate all bugs through enlightenment of God’s WORD!

Minute to win it! Raise your expectations! Mark 5:19-20 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. 20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel. This man who had been bound by a demon and had now been set free wanted to go with Jesus when the town asked them to leave for killing t...he swine. Jesus told the man to stay and tell all he knew about what Christ had done for him, or to raise expectations. When Christ came back Jarius the leader of the city came believing Christ could heal his daughter and on the way, a woman with an issue of blood for 12 years touched Jesus and was made whole. While stopping, the young girl that was sick passed away and Jesus said its ok she is just asleep. The crowd laughed Him to scorn but expectations had been raised and in a few moments, the little girl sat up and was given food. What had happened? Expectations were raised and things happened! If you need something from the Lord today, then raise your expectations, ask for the big things, and believe for the moon and watch God bring heaven down to you. I have seen it work many times and when we come expecting, he shows up! Be blessed today, there is a miracle in route from God to you! How do I know, because trouble is the devil's reaction when there is! Oh, glory to His name! See more

Minute to win it! .The Cross! Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. What took place at the Cross? Jesus cast down hell and brought life to all of us who were lost! Unable to change eternity for ourselves, Jesus came and gave His life for Our sin and because He did our lives will never be the same! For three days and three nights, Jesus rode int...o hell and took the keys of death, hell, and the grave and when He rose on the third day, He defied death itself and because He did, we too shall one day defy death and rise to meet him. As Paul said in Galatians 2:20 I live yet not I but it is Christ who lives within me! The Cross today, without it how lost I would be! Be blessed today, God is not finished with you yet! See more

Weekly Word! One of the least of these! Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. This week I was reminded of how many times we see Christ and blow right past Him and then stop and say, I wished I could see Jesus! Me and my son were in town and getting some food at a restaurant when a gentlemen approached our car, knowing what he wanted and ...him looking a little ragged, he had been around to several cars asking for help and no one wanted to help. I was going to say something when my son spoke to him and said sir do you need something. The man replied some food and a cig! My son told him we did not smoke but said he would get him some food and bring it back to him. My son who sometimes comes off gruff and rough all of a sudden had a Jesus moment and he turned and looked at me and said, if you have done it unto the least of these you have done it unto me. He, in a moment, squashed all my other thoughts of the man I was looking at and I knew in that moment I was dealing with Christ. What would I do, I closed my mouth, smiled and paid for his meal. My heart was warmed and I was impressed with how quickly my son had recognized Jesus! A few minutes later a man came up and gave the man a smoke and I thought, Lord again you are mindful of us all! Friend today in passing, if you happen to see Jesus, could you stop and minister unto Him, He like all those others standing on the other side of life needs a hand up and you and I are the ones God has chosen to be His hands and His feet to the lost and dying. Be blessed today, and have an awesome day! \ From the Lighthouse of the Living, Pastor Humphrey See more

Minute to win it! Stones of Stoning! John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. We are so quick to take up the stones of condemnation, to run down, put down and drown those who we feel superior to in Christ. Have we forgotten Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own... master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Jesus related the issue to a group of religious superiors when they brought a woman caught in adultery. John 8:7 said if you have no sin cast the first stone John 8:9 Jesus said: And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. Jesus follows by saying in verse 10-11 where are your accusers? The woman: there are none; Jesus: neither do I condemn you go and sin no more! If we look we can find failure anywhere, but how about if we look for success and praise that instead of throw stones. We can either build a bridge for others to walk on or we can crush the spirit and let other be walked on, the choice lies within us. Following the example of Christ I choose not to stone! See more
