Foster City Preschool celebrated the Chinese New Year with a parade of February 11. The children wore head bands and made decorations appropriate for ushering in the new Year of the Ox. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about and share in Chinese culture and traditions.

The 2020 Halloween Celebration at Foster City Preschool was a howling success. There was a Halloween parade and trick or treating in the yard. A pumpkin decorating contest is held every year, and this year the "Glitter Ladybug" won 1st prize.

The children have responded well to the changes that have taken place with Covid-19. The Halloween Celebration has brought back a lot of excitement.... The children have been busy decorating pumpkins, carving pumpkins, an in-house parade due to Covid-19 and the children's excitement of their Halloween Costumes. The Halloween games are different due to having to sanitize the toys while playing the games. During this pandemic, we realize children need our support to make sense of the changes to their lives. The most important part in dealing with children at school is to make school fun!
