To all of our educators; please take the time to help recognize the signs of domestic violence among student dating relationships. Domestic violence is not just hitting!

February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. As many of you know, children are vulnerable to abuse, but even more so within the foster youth community are they at a higher risk to experience this. Please help us spread the awareness to end the cycle of abuse. Be an advocate, and don't be afraid to have these tough discussions. Let all youth know that they are loved, that they are cared for, that they matter, and no one deserves to be mistreated.

Perhaps you're afraid you cannot do much, but this is a great example that you can still do soemthing; make a difference today to help invest in the future of our foster youth of El Dorado County.

Does anyone know what the number one most precious commodity is in all of the world? TIME Our time is meaningful to us and it can be meaningful to others too. Foster children in El Dorado county need someone like You, to volunteer your time. You never know how a single moment can last a lifetime :-)
