Today is National Wedding Planner Day, which means I get to tell you about my favorite parts of the job! 1) Sending the bride down the aisle and being the last person to cheer her on before taking the most important steps of her life! 2) I love grand entrances! It’s the first time we see the couples totally bursting with excitement and celebration as a married couple! 3) Desserts. Need I say more? Haha I started my career as a professional princess performer, which m...eans I have a lot of experience with cake If your caterer doesn’t cut and plate cake, I’ll do it for you. I actually really enjoy it, and believe it or not, correct methods of cake-cutting were covered in my wedding planning certification program. Bring on the round and uniquely-shaped cakes! I’m ready. 4) The Cha Cha Slide! I don’t care how many times I hear that song. I love it! Oooh, and the Cupid Shuffle too. If they were played three times each at every wedding, I’d fully support it. I am not a dancer, I’m a head-bobber and step-toucher, but something comes over me when I hear Everybody clap your hands ! Its heart-swelling bliss, and I’m not even kidding. 5) It makes me so happy when my clients and I follow one another on Instagram. I am invested in your lives and want to cheer you on from afar! It’s so cool to watch my couples go on adventures, start families, or adopt pets! I call them the Forever Enchanted Babies I am profoundly grateful for my job as a wedding planner and can’t wait to start doing weddings again!
