A California State University Dominguez Hills Graduate receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with minors in Earth Science and Geotechniques. I am a skilled climate educator, having worked with CSUDH Office of Sustainability as a Community Outreach Specialist Intern and Student Researcher at CSUDH Paleoclimate Lab. When not fighting climate change or food insecurity I enjoy watching the Los Angeles Dodgers. Food Heroes are important because their work stretches the #community dollar. Venice Food Drive is a FoodCycle volunteer-organization who makes it possible for members of the Venice community to have access to healthy food. Every Saturday and Monday, neighbors can rely on these awesome Food Heroes to supplement their weekly #groceries. FCLA and Venice Food Drive volunteers have diverted over 60,000 pounds of of food to Venice communities. Now more than ever, social interaction is absolutely necessary to our physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.... The rate of depression has tripled since the pandemic. What does this mean? #COVID depression is real and shouldn't be ignored. We shouldn't ignore it in others or ourselves.
