I agree with you that we give Special Thanks to the two Fontana Board members Joe Armendarez and Jennifer Quezada who voted and tried to get our Seniors back in classrooms earlier this month. Happy 3rd Anniversary to Healthy Fontana's Fontana Walks! Program. Fontana Walks! is a subprogram of Healthy Fontana and directly focuses on encouraging the c...ommunity to walk for better health. Since its kick-off in August 2017, Fontana Walks! has held a community walk each month to engage participants in physical activity. To date, the program has registered over 2,500 participants and logged over 8.5 billion steps. That’s equivalent to over 4 million miles. Celebrate good health and the 3-year anniversary of Fontana Walks! by participating in the 5th virtual walk of the year on Saturday, August 15.
