Big Day of Giving is THIS Thursday! Our programs have been so successful, we desperately need more space to alleviate growing wait-lists of children. The Folsom Fire Department is partnering with SCDPH to provide a Covid vaccine clinic for individuals who may not have easy access to vaccines. Folsom's Hope and Powerhouse Ministries are partnering with the fire department to provide this clinic this Thursday, May 6th, from 2:30-4:30PM. The clinic will be held at Powerhouse Ministries at 311 Market Street in Folsom. If you or someone you know is having trouble accessing the vaccine, are homeless, uninsured or undocumented, please sign up online and come this week. You must be 18 or older, and this is the J&J vaccine, which has been rereleased for use. Email [email protected] with questions. When Folsom's Hope began in 2008, our vision was for every student to have a chance to be successful and an opportunity to dream regardless of their background. For some of our students, just getting through the day is a monumental effort and things like schoolwork, learning, reading, recreation, nutrition and even basic hygiene (things most of us take for granted in our families) become an afterthought. Over the last 13 years, our programs have provided mentoring, tutoring, support, encouragement and nurture to at-risk studentselementary, middle and high schoolright here in our own city.
