Folsom Lake (lunch club) and Historic Folsom (breakfast club) Rotary members out helping www.murerhouse.org spread decomposed granite on walkways. The Murer House host Italian language, cooking and other classes. They also plan trips to Italy to visit their sister city. Come sometime and check out the museum at the Murer House to learn about Joe Muer and his many contributions to Folsom. Did you know they have a bocce ball court and a pizza oven that can be rented out? Like their Facebook page (link in comments) to be kept abreast of their events.

Teacher #7 of 7 that we wish to highlight is Ms Cook from Sandra Gallardo Elementary School. Ms. Cook is the recipient of a $350 grant which will be used to purchase a book collection on positive character traits. Thank you Ms. Cook for all that you do to enrich your students learning experiences.
