SAMMY LAUREN PUPDATE (now CHARLIE GILBERT): Born a preemie in my bathroom to Momma Gracie Jones on 7/23/14. Only two pups survived. Sammy & Christianna. We lost... Luke & Bettina. Sammy & Christianna were adopted by best friends and neighbors in Pasadena. Christianna now lives in San Francisco. I had a chance last week to catch up with Momma Jackie Diamond. What a great call that was & I so wish we lived closer!! Here are the fabulous photographs she shared with me of Charlie and their family. Bio from Jackie: "Our sweet Charlie Gilbert has been an absolute joy bringer. He is the center of love in our home and we just couldn’t imagine our life without him. We adopted our little guy on December 10th, 2014 when he was just 4 months old, so we are coming up to 6 beautiful years with him now. Charlie is always making us laugh with his funny little personality and his quirks. He loves to sit in the sun and watch the world go by, chasing butterflies and squirrels in our yard, but he’s scared of flies and will run & hide whenever he hears one nearby, so we are hyper alert and ready to scoop him up into a big cuddle whenever that happens. He loves to play with his little doggy friends and is the most cuddly and loving little boy we could’ve ever hoped for; he squeals and sings whenever we return home. Every morning he greets us with a waggy tail, endless cuddles and lots of kisses. Our hearts are so full of happiness because of our little sweetheart. Thank you, Lisa Michelle Corona of Fluffs & Scruffs, A Dog Rescue, for bringing so much love into our home. We are forever grateful. xo *Sweet Charlie on his 5th birthday. He wore his birthday hat and Lucinda baked him special carrot/banana/peanut butter puppy cakes and we sang to him before he opened presents. He loved it!
