July 9th, 2020 was a very sad day for the Family at Flooring Discount Center. We lost our business partner, Dad & Papa, Johnny Bicknell. He was 72 years old when the lung cancer took him from us. He was surrounded by his loved ones in his home located in Nipomo, Ca. Johnny was born in Hereford, Tx. In 1948. He was an Army SGT veteran stationed with the 3rd battalion 64th armored division, stationed in Schweinfurt Germany from 1968-1974. He will be missed but Never Forgotten! He was a very loving, gentle man with the biggest heart one could have. He was very proud to be part of the team we have here and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him! He and his wife Susan invested their life savings to open Flooring Discount Center.
