Want to update you all with the current "Shelter in Place" for CA. We will be continuing to do returns via mail, e-mail, and fax. Unfortunately, face-to-face appointments do not appear to be in this tax seasons future. We want to make sure you know that there is an automatic extension to PAY tax due only, up to $1 million for individuals. This extension is NOT an extension of time to FILE. If you believe you need an extension then please give us a call or email so that we can file that extension for you when the IRS opens for extensions.

If you're like us the last thing you want to see today is another post about this virus... we're sorry... since there has been a "shelter in place" ordered for our county the next few weeks are going to be very strange for this tax season. We are working tirelessly to finish the returns that are currently in our office and get them sent out. Unfortunately our office building will be locked down and we will have very limited access to incoming mail until the April 6 lift date. We will have our phone and email for you to contact us during this time. As of now, the state of CA has extended the filing deadline to June 15 however we haven't received any direction from the IRS. As soon as we hear anything then we will update all of you.
