Today we launched deliveries to florists. We are beginning to set our customer's expectations that we want to grow Certified Organic ornamentals. The interesting thing is that Organic Certification tends to focus on plants that are eaten vs not eaten. Yet, we feel growing all our plants organically has everything to do with the health of bees, wildlife and the environment. Besides, why purchase organic food while filling one's planters and flower gardens with toxic plants?

Hanging with Stuart Compton - Owner C of Greens. We have been advising Stuart, a disabled Veteran, on growing best practices and customer acquisition for the microgreen market in San Diego. Wow! Stuart has taken microgreen growing to another level with his indoor facility where he is testing the latest and greatest low voltage lighting for growing microgreens. Stuart, an Electrical Engineer, has created a proprietary system that is cutting almost a week off of the cycl...e for growing microgreens. We are super stoked for him. Stuart will be launching a large indoor growing facility for microgreens and, in our opinion, will be a major player in microgreens for San Diego county in the next handful of years.
