Big ideas start small, so when we began exploring ways of sourcing Fjällräven wool sustainably on a global level, we partnered with local Swedish farm Brattlandsgården. Brattlandsgården Farm in the heart of the Swedish mountains, comes this knitted sweater made from the wool of Jämtland sheep. The Limited Edition Brattland Sweater No. 1 uses Swedish wool taken from our sustainable wool project. Jämtland sheep's wool gives each sweater a beautiful luster and a slight natural variation in color because we do not dye the yarn. The sweater is another step on Fjällräven’s journey towards sustainable wool production, with an aim to create 100% traceability and the highest possible focus on animal welfare, the environment and quality.
