We’re proud to be in Atlanta at AACR this week where Susannah Barbee, Director Immuno-oncology Research at Five Prime is presenting on FPT155, our first-in-class CD80-Fc fusion protein. FPT155 employs a novel approach to co-stimulate T cells through CD28, the dominant co-stimulatory receptor that acts in conjunction with T cell receptor stimulation in the presence of antigen. FPT155 is an exciting approach to target CD28, without super agonism, to enhance the immune response in tumors that are not responsive to first generation immuno-oncology therapies. FPT155 is being studied in Phase 1 dose escalation and we look forward to presenting preliminary safety data at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer annual meeting later this year. He's receiving a 2019 UCSF Campaign Alumni Award for inventing the first single-chain Chimeric Antigen Receptor and one of the early checkpoint inhibitors targeting the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, Tecentriq (atezolizumab). We’re honored to have Bryan Irving on the FivePrime team as he works with our research and medical staff to develop new immuno-therapies for cancers that do not respond to first-generation immuno-oncolog...y treatments. FivePrime’s pipeline is composed of five uncorrelated clinical drug candidates, as well as several late-stage research and pre-clinical programs, and we are working to systematically drug different cell types in the tumor microenvironment, such as tumor cells, tumor-associated macrophages, Natural Killer cells, T cells and dendritic cells. We're really excited to be presenting data at ASCO GI today from the Safety Lead-in to the Phase 3 FIGHT Trial of bemarituzumab. We completed the Phase 1 safety lead-in and saw no dose-limiting toxicities with the combination of bemarituzumab and mFOLFOX6 and we are encouraged to see evidence of clinical activity with the combination. We're excited to announce two poster presentations at the 2019 Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium that will take place in San Francisco later this week. Data will be presented from the Phase 1/3 FIGHT Study evaluating bemarituzumab and mFOLFOX6 in advanced gastric/GEJ cancer. The study design of the randomized phase 2 study of cabiralixumab in combination with nivolumab and chemotherapy in advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma will also be presented.
