In the middle of the pandemic, I found myself the mom of three beautiful kids, one just a few months old, and a looming darkness foreshadowing my beautiful family. Postpartum depression snuck in and beating it was becoming harder and harder. The best advice I received was get out and do something, with or without the kids, for yourself. FIT4MOMChico had just started meeting in person again and I knew where I needed to be. I joined and haven’t looked back! It’s become fun f...or my kids and they love getting to workout at the park with their stroller friends. It’s so much more than a workout... it’s friendship and a community of support with moms of all walks. It’s home -Hollie Byers Stroller Strides classes are up and running and the weather has been beautiful outside! FIT4MOM Chico introduces our newest member! We became a family of 4 a little over 2 weeks ago and have been soaking up all of the family time. FIT4MOM Chico is currently closed but we will be posting updates as we get closer to re-opening, hopefully in August! I am looking forward to being back outside working out with all the mamas and your sweet babies!

These last couple of weeks/days have probably been wild for all of us. Schools are cancelled. Schedules are out of routine. Kids are going wild since they can’t go anywhere. We are doing the best we can as moms to continue to handle everything we normally do and more. ... Can you relate? Some days feel like a breeze and some days feel harder than ever. We are in survival mode. We cook, we clean, we parent, we protect our families, we take care of everyone and everything (the list goes on). We love everything we do. Even after all of our super powers, we may feel as though it may not be enough. We need to remember to TRULY give ourselves GRACE. Why? Because YOU ARE EVERYTHING! YOU ARE AN AMAZING MOM! YOU HAVE SO MUCH STRENGTH AND POWER! YOU GIVE YOUR WHOLE HEART! And at the end of the day it is all still worth it, especially when you look back at all of the beautiful smiles and memories you’ve continued to create. Mama, we love you. Give yourself grace.
