In collaboration with the Desert Sun, the Palm Springs Art Museum In Palm Desert will present a discussion Friday evening focusing on the power photography has as a record and storyteller. Related to the museum's current "Imaging Change" exhibition, the panel will include students, reporters, and photojournalists who will cast the discussion in a local light with meaningful stories about the Coachella Valley. Here's a SUPER idea! Join us next Saturday for Swing 'N Hops Street Party! The gourmet food you'll find there is actually making that Super Bowl spread of yours look a little puny. (But then again, we're getting some help from Las Carretas Taco Shop, The Big Easy Sandwich, St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Palm Desert, JoJo's Grill-a-Dog, Crabby's Crab Cakes and Seafood Delights, Cruisin' Cones and La Quinta High School's Culinary Institute.)
