James 1:5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. To paraphrase a statement made by one of Christ's apostles he said, The Bible does not contain all the answers to life’s questions; rather, it teaches us how we can find answers to our questions by communicating directly with God through prayer. I know the power of prayer is real. I have felt God answer my prayers many times. I ha...ve prayed time and again for God to grant me more wisdom. All throughout middle school and high school I had a very busy schedule balancing sports, academics, church, family and friend relationships, and work. I'm certain I didn't have the time that some of my classmates had, yet I was able to excel in many of my classes and I know this is because God gave me the wisdom and ability to remember what I had studied. Before every test I would say a prayer in my heart that what I had studied might come to my remembrance. And time and again I would remember and I'd even remember things I hadn't studied! I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who hears and answers our prayers! I'm especially grateful that Joseph Smith went humbly to Heavenly Father and asked which church he should join. He was commanded to join none of them. What an amazing thing it is that a single prayer of a humble farm boy sparked the beginning of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know Heavenly Father is aware of you and will answer your prayers too! Please let me know if you're interested in learning more! Comment below or message me. I love sharing this sweet message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! #californiasantarosamission #firstvision #hearhim #prayinfaith #godhearsyou

We are so blessed to have the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives! We know that as we live Gospel principles by making and keeping sacred promises with God, we can find true joy and eventually live with our families forever! This Gospel has been revealed to mankind from the beginning through prophets and by revelation. We have a prophet who holds the priesthood authority of God that allows family relationships to perpetuate beyond the grave. Comment below if you'd l...ike to learn more about how your family can be together forever! Let’s take a moment to look at the triumphal entry from the donkey’s perspective. Unbroken. No human has ever ridden on his back. AND YET..... He is expected to not only calmly take on a rider.. But walk Him through streets of people who are SHOUTING and waving leaves at him. Talk about terrifying. How could he walk with someone on his back? How was he supposed to go straight? How would he handle the masses of people? The answer to all of these questions is Christ. So many times in life, I feel like that donkey. Terrified as I do something I am completely under-qualified for. Overwhelmed as I attempt something I’ve never done before, but is extremely important. Not trained, yet expected to succeed in uncharted territory. Unbroken, yet Christ sees so much potential in. How can I handle these new and unfamiliar situations? I cannot. I cannot alone. But with Christ at the reins, I can. I know that with Christ at the reigns, I will be taken to destinations far greater than I ever could go on my own. Christ looses us and brings us to exaltation. I think that it is so appropriate for the name Bethphage to mean House of the unripe figs, because I truly believe that this story teaches us, even the unripe can become ripe.. the unfinished can be completed.. with the Finisher’s touch. This is a fun analogy that helps all of us better understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We know that by living the principles of the Gospel we can find peace in the midst of whatever trials we are faced with. We can have hope that our future is brighter than any past or present situation. The Gospel of Jesus Christ provides us with the greatest of all Heavenly Father's gifts and that is the gift of eternal life. To live with our Heavenly Father and our families forever! 2 N...ephi 31:20-21 reads: 20 Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life. 21 And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen. Happy Easter! Receive daily texts to help you #HearHim even more this Easter season! "Easter is a celebration not only of the Resurrection of Christ but also of the universal Resurrection. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, all people will be resurrected. Their bodies and spirits will be reunited, never to be separated again. Latter-day Saints know the truth of Paul’s statement, But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. Fo...r as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive (1 Corinthians 15:20, 22; see also Alma 11:4245)." - (gospel topics, "Easter", paragraph 3) How do you #HearHim?
