Pastor Dennis Hutson presents "What Name Did You Use" is the remarkable response of the Sanhedrin to a lame man's healing. Peter and John were asked for alms, by a man lame from birth, when going to pray at the Temple. They fixed eyes on the man and said, "...in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, walk." They lifted the man to his feet and he began to jump and praise God! The religious leaders did not believe in Jesus' resurrection nor the power in His name. The bystanders though, saw the healed lame man as evidence of that power. 4-18-21 Pastor Dennis' sermon "Disbelieving and Still Wondering" are what Jesus posed to his disciples. While they were overjoyed to see him, they were also fearful. Jesus reassured them of his person. Seeing is obviously not believing, in this case. Perhaps the disciples' anxiety was about what Jesus would require of them. What does He require of us?

Happy Sunday Everyone! He is risen! 4-11-2021 Pastor Dennis' sermon "I Believe" puts one's faith in perspective. Jesus' disciples believed that he was resurrected only after seeing him. Only the beloved disciple looked into the empty tomb early Easter morning and believed. The others had to see, first. Our faith is based on the witness of the disciples. I believe! Help thou my unbelief! Our faith is on varying levels and it is up one moment and down the next. As Tho...mas discovered, our faith is not based on what we see but on a relationship with the Savior.
