First Light Home Care of South Bay is licensed by the state of California to provide nonmedical assistance with activities of daily living. We employ only caregivers that have registered with the state and have passed background checks and drug tests. Our well-trained caregivers start with Heart! It is not just a job to them, but a calling. We then ensure they are trained on best practices for daily assistance with specialized ‘client specific’ training setup for issues such as Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Stroke or any of a number of ailments.

As Governors are trying to figure out how to ease back into a new or "next normal," please remember a little KINDNESS Some people might not agree with your opinions or a State re-opening.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some people are still planning to stay home.... that’s okay. Be kind.... Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some are sighing with relief to be able go back to work, knowing they may not lose their business or their homes.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some are thankful they can finally have a surgery they have put off.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some will be able to attend interviews after weeks without a job.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some will wear masks for weeks.... that’s okay. Be kind. Some people will rush out to get their hair or nails done.... that’s okay. Be kind. The idea is, everyone has different opinions / viewpoints / feelings, and that’s okay. Be kind. We each have a different story. If you need to stay home, stay home. But be kind. If you need to go out, just respect others when in public, and be kind! Don’t judge fellow citizens because of differing opinions or "you’re not in their story." We all are in different mental states than we were weeks or months ago. So please remember: "We don't have to agree on anything in order to be KIND to each other." "SHARED AND MODIFIED...." Please SHARE this for KINDNESS.

A HOPI ELDER SPEAKS: "You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is THE HOUR. And there are things to be considered... Where are you living? What are you doing?... What are your relationships? Are you in right relation? Where is your water? Know your garden. It is time to speak your Truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader. Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, "This could be a good time! There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally. Least of all, ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt. The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we've been waiting for.
