Communion: Are we in the habit of coming to the Lord’s table? If so, in what frame of mind do we come? Do we draw near intelligently, humbly, and with faith? Do we understand what we are doing? Do we really feel our sinfulness and need of Christ? Do we really desire to live a Christian life, as well as profess the Christian faith? Happy is that soul who can give a satisfactory answer to these questions. Let him go forward, and persevere. Whether you were with us in the sanctuary today or viewing from home, we deeply hope you found great peace in the act of communion.

Greetings FCCE friends, The FCCE Mission and Leadership Team determined, and unanimously approved, that the time is now to gather feedback on a variety of issues impacting FCCE members. It includes questions related to the pandemic, returning to in-person service, addressing church concerns, etc. ... Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by September 20, 2020 so that the results can be used to make decisions affecting all of us at FCCE. Survey administration directions: There are two ways for each member to complete the confidential FCCE member survey (takes less that 10 minutes). The first way is through this survey monkey link: (link found in your email as well!) https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LR2NZXH This option automatically collects the response electronically for analyzing. This link can be used by multiple members of a family so that they can respond individually. The second method is to complete the survey via pencil and paper. We would encourage you to send checks monthly, rather than week Angel Wing Cards: The heat may force the drive-in service to stop, but neither heat nor Covid-19 will stop the need for purchasing and sending cards! What better thing to do than to reach out and to someone you care about with a card they can hold, look at, and think of you!! Angel Wings cards can be purchased by calling Tina Talley (760-310-6158 or 760-741-2199). We will set up a time and place to meet for you to shop - my house or yours, a park or the church parking lot! Remember that your purchase of Angel Wings cards supports the work of our church!
