With Wildland Fire season upon us, Cadets and Firefihters brush up on their mobile attack skills.

-Vehicle Accident- On April 1st at 4:33p.m. Firebaugh Fire Department was dispatched to assist Fresno County Cal-Fire on a multi-vehicle accident on Nees Ave just west of Fairfax Ave. 3 patients were transported to the hospital by ambulance and 1 patient was transported by helicopter.

Construction crews have began clearing the lot to build our New Fire Department.

Yesterday Firebaugh Fire Department had a busy afternoon. Our fire department was dispatched to assist both Madera County and Fresno County Cal Fire at the same time. We had 1 Engine respond near Avenue 14 and Road 9 for an Ag debri fire, and we had 1 Engine respond near Fairfax Ave and North Ave for almonds hauls on fire.

#MDCFIRE crews responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Avenue 6 and Road 20. First arriving unit reported a single wide mobile home 75% involved. #MDCFIRE requested mutual aid from Firebaugh City. No injuries reported cause is still under investigation.

-Tree Fire- Last night at 11:33p.m. Firebaugh Fire was dispatched to assist Fresno County Cal-Fire to a tree on fire near Copper ave and Lyon Ave. Upon arrival, it was determined the fire had caught a travel trailer on fire. Firefighters contain the fire quickly with limited water supply.. No injuries were reported

-Vehicle Accident- Yesterday evening at 6:52p.m. Firebaugh Fire Department was dispatched to assist Madera County Cal-Fire in a vehicle accident on Ave 7 1/2, East of Rd 6. Upon arrival, it was determined the vehicle was on fire with 1 victim still inside the vehicle. We are sadden to report the victim did not survived.

-Fire- On Jan 2nd at 4:38p.m. Our Fire Department was dispatched to a Dumpster Fire near Highway 33 and Clyde Fannon Rd.
