Finn's Nursery 16.01.2021

For all the recent messages we got asking if we offer services virtually and such this is as virtual as a nursery will get. We can't box a 15 gallon tree and send it through postal there are also other factors that each package would have to be ag inspected and such costing the purchaser more than needed. I can take photos of plants, tell you how much, where were located and our hours but we don't provide shipping on our trees and plants. Just a small family owned nursery

We’ve had a lot of questions about poor pollination so far this year and things you could do to bring some bees into your yard to help other trees and plants that need it! Anything that flowers is your friend! Flowers bring bees! Some of the most popular though to bring a lot of bees are milkweed, rosemary, sage, any annual flowers that aren’t sprayed with chemicals (anything from big box stores is usually sprayed with certain chemicals and can kill bees) wildflower see...ds, fruit trees, anything with lots of flowers! The more the better in our opinion! Watch what you buy from big box stores because although yes they’re beautiful plants those particular companies aren’t friendly when it comes to bugs and them using chemicals to keep them away! One thing we don’t use in our nursery is any kind of chemicals or weed killers or anything, we refuse because although picking weeds is hard work at times and keeping things healthy without chemicals can be a bit challenging at times it’s worth it to keep those precious little pollinators we call bees! We love our bees and we want to keep them here! (and yes we know they do sting and can cause some not so great allergic reactions but we also know they give us food and are actually pretty majestic little creatures!) See more

To our customers I cannot express this enough if you are calling our home/business phone and we don’t answer (we are either out helping another customer or out in the nursery doing work) please leave a message so we can know what you need and give you a call back as soon as we can get back to you. Please do not call incessantly without leaving a message. We are having major problems with people calling 10-20 times seeing if we will answer! Please don’t do this! Please understand that we are doing our best to get back to you as soon as we can but if you’re incessant and don’t leave messages we will block your number. It’s harsh but as a business owner and worker this puts us under immense stress to hear our phone ringing off the hook!
