This customer came in with his 2012 Mazdaspeed 3 wanting some more power. A solid 30-50 WTQ and 30 WHP was achieved with a few more PSI. DYNO RESULTS ... 269 WTQ @ 3300 RPM 226 WHP @ 6000 RPM Mazda did a great job with this DIT 2.3L engine. This customer purchased his 1995 Nissan Skyline GTS when he was stationed in Japan. Already fitted with the RB25DET engine, a larger 20G turbo with a Blitz front mount intercooler was installed. FLI was contracted to install and supply the fuel system and Stand Alone ECU with custom tuning. FLI's Front Fuel System consist of larger injectors, rail, regulator, dampers and hosing. FLI hand picks each injector kit for the specific application, fuel being using and future upgrade...s. The Stand Alone ECU we choose for this engine was a G4+ plug in @linkecu. We added an IAT sensor to the intake manifold to accurately measure intake air temperatures. DYNO RESULTS: 326 WTQ @ 4800 RPM 315 WHP @ 5500 RPM 16.5 PSI MAX BOOST Cali 91 Octane fuel This package makes 40-60 WHP / WTQ over a stock RB25DET on our dyno. We were performing an oil change on a customers 2014 EVO MR prior to a custom tune when something did not look right about the metal flakes in the oil. Being cautious we sent the oil to the laboratory who we have been working with for 14 years to make sure its safe to push it. The results came back great!
