I just picked up an Amfeltec Squid PCI Express Carrier board for M.2 SSD modules and four 256GB Samsung SM951 AHCI flash blades. I plan to instal them in slot 2 of a 2010 Mac Pro w/ 12 core 3.46 GHz processors and 64GB RAM. Hoping to get over 5000 MB/s read/write speed in a 4 stripe RAID.
