3 Tips to Lengthen the life of your Extensions Even with the greatest of care, the life of your extensions will come to an end and will need, to be replaced. N...o need to worry that that time will come soon! The life of your extensions can last up to 6+ months with a good care routine. The best part of this routine? It takes 5 min & you can add it to your nighttime routine. Here the 3 must do’s to get the most life out of your extensions while you sleep Nourish your hair: Brush your hair from roots to ends. Making sure that you hold your extensions at the base so there’s no pulling while you brush the ends. Add a small amount of your favorite nourishing oil to the ends & comb through with your fingers to get the hair underneath Braid or Bun: Always braid your hair into two braids or use a soft scrunchie to do a loose top knot. Not your Momma’s highlights Gone are the days where I would spend over 1 hour just foiling & folding itty bitty little highlights into a head of hair. I was so... proud of the noticeable & symmetrical little lines that it created These days a mix of painted highlights & foiled highlights are more my thing. I like to still keep some highlights in foils because it brings out more lightness than the painted highlights. & all the painted highlights aka Balayage add such a softness that I gotta incorporate it. Usually I try to keep my post all about the pretty hair or the fun experiences I’ve had around our County, but I have just been in a funk this past week that I ...couldn’t muster up the creativity to say something nice. Then news came yesterday from Gavin Newsom & California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology that hair salons among other personal service businesses are now ‘allowed’ to perform services outside & about that.... Let me just tell you that Hair salons are regulated so thoroughly that we can be fined if they find a single hair on a comb that is inside a drawer that is labeled ‘clean.’ We spend 1600 hours in beauty school primarily learning how to sanitize everything & how to properly keep our spaces clean with a side of hair classes. When we take our State Board exam, we are tested on our sanitation skills. But now, it seems that none of that matters & we should all be so grateful to be able to work again. Outside. In the streets of Downtown Santa Rosa No Thank You Our salon was deep cleaned by a professional cleaning company before we opened, we used EPA approved disinfectant on all surfaces touched, we limited the amount of people inside, we kept our clients at a safe distance from each other, everyone wore a mask, everything that the California State Board of Cosmetology-Fairfiled, Ca asked us to do for the safety of our clients & our stylist. There’s so much more to say about how this is not right, safe or sanitary & it would take me all day. So in the meantime, I’ll ask our neighbor Ausiello's Bar and Grill how they feel about their & being sprinkled with a lil hair from our haircut tent. See more

Welcome Baby Boy! Our Dear Cristina has welcomed her sweet baby boy, Christopher Both Mama & baby are doing well & adjusting to their new routine that involves a lot eating & sleeping(for baby) & some rest in between for Mama. We are so happy for her and her family and we cannot wait for the day when we can meet him in real life. Congratulations Cristina
