Santa Clara County Field Sports Park and the San Jose Zouaves Rifle Club invite you to attend our Juniors Program! WHEN Every second Saturday of each month an...d begins at 8:30am sharp rain or shine. Concludes by approximately 12pm pending group size. 2019 schedule: March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, November 9, and December 14. WHERE Santa Clara County Fields Sports Park, at the 200-yard range (top of the hill). Parking is available above the 200-yard range, or down the hill in the Range House parking lot. WHO Juniors between the ages of 10 and 20 are welcome to participate. Parents or legal guardians are required to stay for the entire event and are encouraged to enjoy the experience with their child as they learn firearm safety and marksmanship skills. No reservation is required for groups of under 10 participants. If you’re bringing 10 or more juniors, please email [email protected] to confirm if another group hasn’t already been scheduled. HOW MUCH This program is offered for free! Santa Clara County Field Sports Park and the San Jose Zouaves Rifle Club cover all costs; participants will be provided loaner eye and ear protection, a loaner 22lr single shot rifle, enough ammunition for the day and all target materials. WAIVERS Each participant’s parent or legal guardian is required to provide the staff with a signed consent form, and a signed release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement. Both forms are available at the main Range House or may be found on the Santa Clara County Field Sports Park website. WHAT ELSE Participants should wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, and close toed shoes. Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated, especially on the warmer days.
