#BondFire Update

#BondFire Update: 7,200 acres & 0% containment. Two Forest Service Firefighters were injured and taken to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment. No additional information is available at time. @OrangeCountyFire

For the first time in the decade since High Point and Boucher Hill have reopened, the towers will be staffed until 12/31/20 (they usually close on Dec 1st) with an option to remain open until 1/31/21 depending on fire conditions.

CNF Partial Reopen.

High Point and Boucher Hill in the CNF are extending the staffing season until 12/31/20. Los Pinos is also extending.

Smoke Report(s) - Boucher Hill - Tue 12/1/20 1003hrs - 171 - 35 miles, in the vicinity of Marron Valley. 1017hrs - 214 - 18 miles, in W Escondido. 1228hrs - 276 - 30 miles, on Camp Pendleton. 1325hrs - 215 - 13 miles, near Lake Dixon. Smoke Report - Boucher Hill - Fri 10/2/20 1212hrs - 245, 16 miles, W of I-15 and S of Gopher Canyon Rd. Responding units unable to locate, but a construction crew in the area grading a road may have created a dust cloud.

The only visitors currently allowed at Los Pinos lookout. Thanks to lookout Dave Fleming for the photos.

Smoke Report - Boucher Hill - Mon 11/30/20 1340hrs - 268 - 25 miles - On Camp Pendleton.

Smoke Report - Boucher Hill - Thurs 10/1/20 1514 hours - 205, 18 miles, in the vicinity of San Pasqual and Escondido. This became known as the #BearValleyFire. The photo is from a PTZ camera on Boucher Hill.

CNF remains closed till October 8th.

Smoke Report - Boucher Hill - Wed 9/30/20 270 25 miles on Camp Pendelton - Info only report. This became the #DeluzFire. The photo is from an HPWREN camera on Boucher Hill.

#ElDoradoFire Update

Smoke Report(s) - Boucher Hill - Tue 9/29/20 0937hrs - 173, 19 miles - NE of Ramona Airport. It was intermittent for more than an hour. Cal Fire dispatched but nothing found. (see top photo). 1353hrs - 161, 20 miles, in the vicinity of Highway 67. Cal Fire dispatched and it was determined to be from a bulldozer working the aera. 1753hrs - 248, 8 miles - in the vicinity of McNally Rd, Valley Center. No further information (see photo). A doe and her young one on the drive into High Point this morning. Perhaps they realize the forest is closed so no hunters.
