A reminder that Jesus is the reason for the season!

As children of God, we should make plans for the future assuming our plans are what God wants for us. Pastor King made an illustration yesterday stating that we should write our plans in pencil, knowing that God has an eraser to remove the things that are not in line with His willsince God is in control of all aspects of our lives, we should have comfort in knowing that He has something better in store for us.

God loves us in 4 ways: 1. We are completely accepted. There is nothing we can do to stop his love, even the parts we are insecure about he loves and accepts. ... 2. We are unconditionally loved. His love for us will never end. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 3. We are totally forgiven by God. Before he made us, he knew we’d do the things we’d, do even if it's bad but he still chose to make us. God loves us. 4. We are considered extremely valuable to Him. God owns us! For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:20

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28
