Ferndale FFA Humboldt Del Norte Section Creed & Impromptu Speaking Contests today!! Creed Contestants: Clara Christiansen ... Regan Russ Brynn Luna These freshman ladies have worked diligently to memorize the 5 paragraph FFA Creed and answer the judges questions. We are so proud of all of them! Impromptu Contestants: Lillian Chase Rocha Tiara Russ These two sophomores have been working hard on their contests. They are given a topic and they have 1 minute to prepare a 2 minute speech on that topic. They have both put in so much time and efffort in preparing for today! We will post results from the contests later tonight! Good Luck Ladies!!!

Introduction to Ag had a FUN Friday before the holiday break! Gingerbread house building at its finest! Sienna even made a dog house with Timmy the dog . Cali made a princess castle and we had a few hurricane victims . We absolutely love this class of great kids!! They also all stayed after school to finish their woodshop projects before the holidays. Great job Wildcats!!

The Redwood Acres Livestock Committee is excited to announce, following the Redwood Acres Fairboard meeting this evening, the fair board directors voted to move... forward with a 2021 Redwood Acres Livestock Show and Jr. Livestock Auction. At this point in time we aren’t 100% sure what it will look like, virtual or in person, but it will be held at the normal time in June. More information to follow as it becomes available. See more

We are sooooo fortunate to have amazing board members! Danella Barnes-Penman Dbp Woodturning has been donating her time and expertise to our woodshop and our students and staff teaching them the craft of turning wood and using apoxy! They have learned soooo much while creating beautiful works of art!!! Thank you Danella and Mr. O’Day for the awesome opportunities!!

Our FFA members were busy cooking today!!! We made a full Thanksgiving meal for everyone in the entire school today! Instead of our regular tradition, we went Covid style with to-go boxes instead of our traditional table down the hall. Although our awesome teamwork by all our Ag classes while making the meal was our favorite part! Thank you everyone for all your hard work! We are Thankful for our school, students, staff, faculty and our Wildcat pride!!! And check out that apple pie Turkey!
