How long after LASIK can I use electronics? We recommend you avoid staring at your smartphone for at least 4 hours after LASIK and use it sparingly the day of surgery. If you’re on your smartphone or computer the next day, then instill preservative-free artificial tears prior and every 30 minutes while using the smartphone or computer. After that, you are good to use your devices normally.

The only time you'll see our LASIK clients wearing glasses is when they're making a fashion statement!

Most of the recovery occurs within the first three or four hours. We encourage people to take a four-hour nap after their LASIK, and afterward they generally feel pretty great. It’s not uncommon to need artificial tears more frequently over the first few days. Sometimes people even use a prescription dry eye drop two to three times daily for 1-3 months if they get significant dry eyes. With that being said, we make it our top priority to provide our patients with an abundance of information before proceeding with any procedure.
